Following a retirement, Community Living Cambridge requires a new Executive Director. Reporting to a volunteer Board of Directors, the successful candidate will be a visionary, collaborative and skilled leader who will strategically guide the organization in achieving its Vision and Mission on behalf of the people and communities served. The key deliverables of this position involve growing a strong organizational culture, enhancing the range and quality of the programs and supports offered in an ever changing service environment, building strong networks and partnerships, and actively engaging with the communities served.
In leading a professional team of over 300 staff, the ideal candidate will preferably have a relevant university degree and five to ten years of senior level experience working with a large staff team, government funders and a Board of Directors. The leader we seek will have outstanding organizational development capacities, strong communication skills, a proven ability to motivate teams of staff and volunteers to achieve desired goals, and the strategic capabilities to continue to position the organization effectively in meeting the evolving needs of the people and communities engaged. With a large geographical operation involving some 500 plus people served, an annual budget of nearly $15 million and an extensive partnership network, the new Executive Director will build on the organization’s achievements to create the next generation of services and outcomes for the individuals supported, their families and communities they live and work in.
