Barry Green
Director
Barry joined with Board in the fall of 2022. He works in Member Services at Costco Kitchener. He is currently a participant in Community Living Cambridge’s independent living program.
Barry enjoys bowling, baseball, working on computers and watching live sports. Barry also is an athlete in the Special Olympics.
Barry has been with Special Olympics for over 15 years. Getting to the Special Olympics World Games has been a long-time dream for Barry. He competes in 10-pin bowling and plays five-pin. He is looking forward to exchanging pins with people from all over the world. Barry has won Gold and Silver in Regional and National Games. Barry’s family enjoys watching him play and supporting him to continue to achieve new goals.

2013 - Male Athlete of the Year
2014 - Special Olympic Ontario in Vancouver, BC
3 gold medals and 1 silver medal
2016 - Special Olympic Ontario in Guelph, ON
3 gold medals and 1 silver medal
2018 - Special Olympic Ontario in PEI
1 gold medal and 1 silver medal
2019 - Special Olympic Ontario World Games in Abu Dhabi
1 gold medal, 1 silver medal, 6th place ribbon
2019 - Athlete of the Year Finalist
