Jack Gandhi, MA, MSW, RSW (Retired)

Director

I am a highly motivated Social Worker with over 35 years of experience in the field of Social Work, Healthcare and Hospital Administration. During my career, I have worked for the Ministry of Community and Social Services for 27 years addressing the needs of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families. I have also worked with Community Rehab/Saint Elizabeth Health Care Services, for over 10 years, in advocating for clients’ needs.  

I have a Masters Degree in Social Work and Mathematics. During my extensive career, I have been an active member of the Ontario Association of Social Workers as well as the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.  

I have successfully completed diplomas in Hospital Departmental Management; Health Care Organization and Management (HCOM) through the Canadian Hospital Association (Ottawa).

I am passionate about advocating for individuals with developmental disabilities and their needs, including integration within the mainstream community. These individuals deserve to be treated with respect and dignity. I possess strong organizational, administrative and management skills. I bring a wealth of experience in developmental disabilities, social work, and an in-depth understanding of individual and family needs to better serve on the Board of Directors of Community Living Cambridge.  

Joined as a Board of Director, Community Living Cambridge since December 2023.

Presently Member of the Asset Leveraging Committee/Nominations and ED Review Committees.

I am a current resident of Cambridge and have been residing in this community for over 30 years. I have a working knowledge of additional languages, including Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi.
